Step 1: Open Your Dashboard (2 minutes)

Access Your Dashboard

Navigate to http://localhost:8501 and click "Log In"

Understanding the Dashboard Header

The header tells you: - Analysis status - When the data was last processed - Insights count - How many useful findings were discovered - Data volume - Number of workouts being analyzed - System status - Whether the categorization system is working

Step 2: Understanding Your Insights (5 minutes)

📈 Trend Analysis

What you'll see:

Based on: Statistical analysis of recent workouts

This shows how your performance is changing: - Improving trends - metrics getting better over time - Declining trends - areas that might need attention - Stable patterns - consistent performance

This highlights anything unusual: - All normal - everything looks typical for you - Unusual patterns - something different from your usual routine - Data quality alerts - potential problems with imported data

Step 3: Exploring Workout Categorization (3 minutes)

Understanding Workout Types

The dashboard automatically sorts your workouts into categories:

  • Real Runs: Focused running (usually 8-12 min/mile pace)
  • Walking/Hiking: Leisurely activities (usually 20-28 min/mile pace)
  • Mixed Activities: Combined running and walking
  • Outliers: Unusual workouts that don't fit normal patterns
